Which college is better? UC Davis or UC Irvine?

I was admitted to UCI as a Biological Sciences major at the College of Biological Sciences. I accepted because it was the best college that I was accepted to and I liked the campus. However, I was recently admitted off of the wait list to UCD as a Microbiology major at the College of Biological Sciences and it is definitely a consideration to rescind my SIR to UCI and accept UCD. I know that they are both very close in rank, but which one has a better reputation and which one has a better science program that will prepare me best for becoming a doctor?
