Which college is better? UC Davis or UC Irvine?

I was admitted to UCI at their College of Biological Sciences as a Biological Sciences major. I accepted because it was my best choice of the colleges that I was accepted to and I liked the campus. However, I was just admitted off of the wait list to UCD as a Microbiology major at their College of Biological Sciences. UCD is also a great school, so I am thinking about accepting there and telling UCI that I will not be attending. They are both great schools, nearly the same rankings, but which has a better science program that will prepare me best to become a doctor? Which college has a better reputation?
