Weird dreams/ nightmares since early childhood?

For as long as I can remember I have had these really f'ed up dreams. I remember them really from infancy if you can believe that. There was one I remembered (I couldn't even talk yet) I was sitting on the floor by a cabinet and there was this shadowed figure moving around in the cabinet. It was saying things and growling (not like a dog) but demonic. I then remember the cabinet door almost popping open and me struggling with all my might to keep it closed. I was crying and screaming. And I remember I woke up in my kitchen high-chair crying (obviously frightened). I remember my sister walking in the room and asking me what was wrong and why I was crying and then she picked me up and I cannot remember anymore from there. My next dream I could really remember was probably about the age of five and these weird nightmarish dreams kept happening until I was probably 7 or 8 and then they went away but for a short period of time recently (In the past year) I have had more of these dreams I'm 16 now and the idea of these thing still haunting me freaks me out. Can someone please offer some info. PS should I see a psychiatrist?
